another time

I just downloaded the song all summer long by kid rock. Now I'm not from northen michigan, I'm not even american but it reminded me of summers from when I  was still in school (high school and university).  There are just songs that take you back and make you live that time again...  It made me think of the beach, of friends and liquor, of dancing at all times, of kisses and misses and there was always a favorite song. coming home drunk and to this day my mom thinks I never drink more than one cocktail!
It makes me wonder what happened to many of the gang, and how come I only kept in contact with a hand full.....
