soldier for a day

chekiitaYesterday I was a soldier for a day. I cannot feel my legs, my back is killing me and I may loose my foot. But I had an amazing experience. It was great, we jumped from a 15 meter tower, fired a really big gun, did an obstacle court, marched with backpacks, got punished for not doing things right.
I have a new appreciation for what being a soldier is. Even though I had the extra light program, the yelling and the following orders the waking up at the crack of dawn. It's not for everyone.
I'm a huge GK fan and I got excited when I saw Brad's grenade launcher. Though I didn't get to use it.
So I'm in pain but I had fun. The people I went with were awesome and since it was in another city we got to stay in an amazing hotel and use the spa today. So all in all YAY!
BTW I ate an MRE it wasn't so bad but then again I won't have to eat them ever again!
